Jamie Muscato and Celinde Schoenmaker to star in Love Never Dies concert at the London Palladium

Jamie Muscato and Celinde Schoenmaker will lead the return of Andrew Lloyd Webber, Glenn Slater, Ben Elton and Frederick Forsyth’s Love Never Dies in concert at the London Palladium this autumn.

Directed by Shaun Kerrison, the limited concert engagement will run for two performances on 16 and 17 October 2026. The production is produced by Darren Bell alongside Cuffe & Taylor for Live Nation, following the award-winning concert staging at Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

Muscato will take on the role of the Phantom, with Schoenmaker reprising her acclaimed performance as Christine. The casting was first announced during Muscato’s solo concert, which coincided with Lloyd Webber’s birthday celebrations.

Set a decade after the events of The Phantom of the Opera, the musical follows the Phantom as he establishes a new life in New York. When Christine arrives in America with her husband Raoul and their young son Gustave, unresolved passions and past secrets resurface.

The concert forms part of wider celebrations marking 40 years since The Phantom of the Opera first opened in London. The original production continues to run in the West End at His Majesty’s Theatre and has been seen by more than 160 million people worldwide.

Further anniversary events are expected to be announced in the coming months. Tickets for Love Never Dies in Concert go on sale from 27 March.
