Savoy Theatre

The Savoy Theatre opened in 1881 as part of the wider Savoy development, giving it a unique relationship with one of London’s most famous hotel names from the start. Historically, it is inseparable from the great Gilbert and Sullivan era and from the idea of musical entertainment as a high-style London event.

Allow enough time to find Savoy Court if it is your first visit. It is central, but not as immediately obvious from the street as some other theatres.
